Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Shikshan Sanstha Kata was founded by Late Vinayakraoji Deshmukh in the year 1972.
Vinayakraoji Deshmukh was a famous name in the social field. This society was started to make progress in the field of education. By establishing special institutions among the poor and backward classes of Vidarbha and to promote health science education, sports, women's education etc. This society started with just a nursing school and a hostel; but Today, it has grown into an educational institution.
